Biografie
Sie ist in Jinju, South Gyeongsang, Süd Korea geboren. In ihren jugen Jahren ist sie durchgehend durch ganz Korea gereist, da ihr Vater Soldat war. In der Junior High riet ihr eine Freundin beim Vorsprechen der Talent Agentur SM Entertainment teil zu nehmen. 2003 gewann sie den "Teen Model Contest" von SM Entertainment. Nachdem sie SM Entertainment beigetreten ist, trainierte sie zusammen mit den anderen Trainees singen, schauspielern und tanzen.
