- El 21 de abril de 2019 Koo Bon Im falleció a la edad de 50 años (según los cálculos coreanos) a causa del cáncer de la nasofaringe. Según informes, la trataron durante más de un año pero lamentablemente falleció. El sitio de entierro se estableció en Incheon Shillakwon Funeral Home y su funeral se lleva a cabo el 23 de abril.
