- El 19 de Agosto de 2020 se dio a conocer que al actor le habían practicado la prueba para detectar el COVID19 después de confirmarse que el actor Seo Sun Jong diera positivo y que Dong Won había utilizado el mismo salón de prácticas para la filmación del drama Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol, la prueba dio positivo, el actor tuvo que aislarse y someterse a cuidado médico. El 22 de septiembre se confirmó que el actor ya estaba totalmente recuperado y podía volver al trabajo.
