Carrera

Jewelry es un grupo femenino de Corea del Sur. Después de lanzar su primer álbum con ventas bajas, el grupo finalmente alcanzó notoriedad a través de su segundo álbum, y alcanzó su auge comercial con su cuarto álbum Superstar, que generaron un número uno para ellas. Después de la ramificación en el Japón con un éxito limitado, el grupo regresó con dos nuevos miembros en 2008 con la canción "One More Time".

Pre Debut

Debut

Jewelry debutó en 2001 con su primer álbum "Discovery". Después de menos-que-estelar de las ventas de su primer álbum, dos de las cantantes fueron sustituidas. Un año más tarde, su segundo álbum "Again" fue lanzado, con mejores resultados. Lleno de baladas fuerte (a diferencia de las canciones de baile sexy que eran populares en ese momento), el álbum rápidamente dio dos altos sencillos: "Tonight" y "Again", que se inició ascenso del grupo a la popularidad. Esto fue seguido rápidamente por su tercer álbum, "Beloved", que vio la continuación de su imagen linda. Su primer single "니가 참 좋아" - " I really like you" era muy "amapola" e hizo que Jewelry adoptara un concepto tierno para que coincidiera con la canción, con trajes coloridos y bailes alegres.

Entrada en Japón

Partida de miembros

El 3 de marzo de 2014, se reveló que el contrato de Eunjung había expirado y que estaría dejando el grupo igual que haría Baby-J el 16 de noviembre.

Disolución

El 7 de enero de 2015, se anunció que el grupo se separaría definitivamente ya que Yewon era la única miembro que quedaba, ahora centrándose en actividades en solitario.

2018: Re-Encuentro

El 6 de abril del 2018, participaron en el programa SugarMan 2 donde presentaron la cancion Baby One More Time, el grupo Weki Meki participo tambien en este programa haciendo un cover de la misma canción. Ademas las chicas hablaron de lo que han estado haciendo y Kim Eun Jung explicó que actualmente trabaja como letrista con Devine Channel. Al hablar sobre su disolución, Park Jung Ah también comentó que les gustaría tener un concierto un día como Jewelry nunca tuvo.
