- El 11 de diciembre de 2023, Kathy Chow falleció en Pekín a causa de una enfermedad a la edad de 57 años. El 27 de diciembre de 2023, la hermana de Kathy emitió un comunicado revelando que la causa real de la muerte fue un infarto repentino (Cardiopatía). Esto fue confirmado por los forenses. El cortejo fúnebre y el lugar de entierro se mantendrían en privado, pero sus cenizas y el lugar de entierro estarían en Hong Kong.
