Curiosidades[]
- Se casó en 1985 y en el mismo año tuvieron un hijo. En 1996 su esposa se mudó con su hijo a Estados Unidos y eventualmente se divorciaron.
- En 1997 se caso con la diseñadora Choi Kyung Sook y se divorciaron en 2001.
- En marzo de 2004 su único hijo murió en un accidente de motocicleta en Estados Unidos. Tras esto se mudó a vivir a Canadá y no regresó a Corea hasta el 2009. En ese tiempo, se casó en secreto pero terminaron divorciándose.
- El 25 de diciembre de 2019 contrajo matrimonio en una ceremonia privada.
