SEENROOT es un dúo mixto acústico indie conformado por Shin Hyun Hee y Kim Root que debuto oficialmente el 4 de abril 2014 bajo la agencia MUN.HWA.IN Entertainment con su primer single "Cap Song".

El dúo produce música indie y folk. Sus canciones son siempre acústicas y generalmente sólo se apoyan en la guitarra, bajo y algunos tambores como música de fondo. Hyun Hee es la vocalista principal y también toca la guitarra mientras que Root normalmente solo toca el bajo y hace coros. Sin embargo, en algunas canciones Root canta versos enteros también.

Curiosidades

  • El grupo se volvió mas popular debido a que un vídeo de una youtuber coreana se hizo viral donde ella hacia aegyo con el tema de fondo "Sweet heart" también conocido como "Oppaya", actualmente el vídeo que se hizo viral cuenta con mas de un millón de reproducciones.
  • Su viral tema "Sweet heart" fue subido a youtube el 25 de Febrero del 2015, sin embargo se hizo viral a principios del 2017. Gracias a que se hizo viral volvieron a presentarse en los programas de música en el 2017 interpretando el tema y quedando en posiciones muy altas en los charts.
