Sobre el Artista

Debido a su pasión por la música decidió ser cantante desde sus años de escuela secundaria. En el año 2000, participó en el programa buscatalentos ASAYAN quedando entre los primeros cinco. En 2001, y después de verlo en ASAYAN, HIRO lo invitó a unirse a J Soul Brothers, quien más tarde cambiaría su nombre por EXILE, y el 27 de septiembre de 2001 hizo su debut con el sencillo "Your eyes only ~Aimai na Boku no Katachi~".

En 2004 se unió al grupo COLOR, sin embargo dos años más tarde decidió irse. Aunque ya no era parte del grupo, se transformó en su productor hasta julio de 2009, cuando COLOR cambió su nombre a DEEP.

El 14 de septiembre de 2011, hizo su debut como solista con la canción "Itsuka Kitto...".

El 31 de agosto de 2016, anunció en el sitio web de EXILE que limitará sus actividades japonesas y trasladará su base de actividades a Estados Unidos hasta 2018.

Además de sus actividades como el vocalista de EXILE, ha colaborado con otros artistas como AI, ICONIQ o Kubota Toshinobu.
