- La tarde del 22 de octubre de 2010, Selina Ren sufrió un accidente junto a su compañero de reparto Yu Hao Ming en el set de su nuevo drama I Have a Date with Spring. Yu Hao Ming notó que algo salió mal e intentó hacer de escudo para protegerla del accidente. Se dice que ha sufrido quemaduras más graves como resultado.
- Yu Hao Ming sufrió quemaduras de 2 º grado pero ha tenido una recuperación rápida. Ya esta comiendo pequeñas cantidades de alimentos y puede caminar.
