A Resistance (항거: 유관순 이야기; Hang-geo: Yugwansun Iyagi) is a 2019 South Korean historical drama film written and directed by Joe Min Ho, starring Go Ah Sung, Kim Sae Byuk, Kim Ye Eun, Jeong Ha Dam, and Ryu Kyung Soo.

Synopsis[]

At 17 years old, Yu Gwan Sun participates in the Korean independence movement when the country is under the rule of Japan. Yu Gwan Sun is arrested and sent to Seodaemun Prison where she is tortured, but she does not give in to her oppressors.[1]
