Chicago Typewriter (시카고 타자; 시카고打字機; Sikago Tajagi) is a 2017 South Korean television series starring Yoo Ah In, Im Soo Jung and Go Kyung Pyo. It ran from April to June 2017, with episodes every Friday and Saturday at 20:00 KST on tvN.

What does it take to maintain your status as a bestselling author?
Han Se Ju (Yoo Ah In) was a writer in his past life during the 1930s Japanese occupation of Korea. He has been reincarnated and is a bestselling author in modern day. But Se Joo is depressed and has writer’s block that keeps him from completing his next bestseller.
Yoo Jin Oh (Go Kyung Pyo) is a talented ghostwriter who can bail Se Joo out of his predicament, but the mysterious man has a condition for his services that Se Joo may not be able to meet.
Jeon Seol (Im Soo Jung) is a veterinarian and book lover who runs her own delivery service. She becomes an anti-fan of the overrated Se Joo.

Production[]
The series is written by Jin Soo-wan who wrote the hit dramas Moon Embracing the Sun (2012) and Kill Me, Heal Me (2015).
This drama marks Im Soo Jung's small screen comeback after 13 years since 2004.
The series was filmed at various places in Seoul - SEOUL SEOUL 3080, Hannam-dong Book Park, Ikseon-dong and Seodaemun Prison History Museum.
Trivia[]
- This drama took over the timeslot previously occupied by "Tomorrow With You" and was followed by "Stranger" on June 10, 2017.
- Episode 7 was originally scheduled to air on Friday, April 28, 2017, but was pushed back due to the South Korean presidential election. Episode 7 aired on Saturday, April 29, 2017, the same day as Episode 8.
- Episode 9 and 10 were originally scheduled to air on May 5 and May 6, 2017, respectively, but due to "Golden Week", they aired on May 12 and May 13, 2017, instead.
