Dr. Cutie is a 2020 Chinese drama about the girl whose entire family was murdered and who is trying to take revenge for it.
Synopsis[]
Shen Zhao Er (Sun Qian) is the sole surviving child of a renown Imperial Doctor who was convicted of a crime he did not commit by a corrupt cabal of fellow public servants. Both he and his family were sentenced to death – but Zhao Er managed to escape harm.
Now, seven years later, she is out for revenge.
She disguises herself as a male Imperial Doctor named Tian Qi in order to gain access to the royal court.
However, she proves exceptionally talented in medicine, and is selected by the Imperial General Ji Heng (played by Huang Jun Jie) to be his chief Imperial Doctor – finding himself strangely drawn to this new face at his Mansion...
But when he discovers her true identity, the General decides, he wants to marry Tian Qi – potentially derailing her carefully hatched plan to exact vengeance on the men responsible for the death of her family.
Will Zhao Er bring the evil cabal of public servants to justice? Will she become the General's wife? Or will her increasingly complex feelings for the General disrupt all of her best-laid plans?[1]
