Synopsis[]
Orawee and Tharn are a picture perfect couple with no children as Orawee has always been busy with her career. They decide to adopt a boy and a girl, named Aekaong and Atcharee. The two children form a bond which transcends the love between siblings.
Orawee becomes a successful businesswoman, revealing her controlling nature to Tharn. The suffocating nature of their relationship makes him very uncomfortable. He seeks solace in Vichuda (Orawee's cousin and housekeeper) while drunk one day. Orawee was enraged and sought a divorce.
Tharn moves out with Vichuda and Aekaong. Aekaong and Atcharee still attempt to meet several times because they begin to realise their feelings for each other. When Orawee learns about this, she forbids Atcharee from leaving the house.
As time passes, Tharn and Aekaong's lives improve while Orawee decides to introduce Atcharee as her daughter to society because she needs to set her up with some guy who will be under her control. Ben is the top pick for Orawee but he doesn't like Atcharee. He thinks that she's too plain and boring for him but he needed to marry her due to his family's financial predicament.
Aekaong attempts to stop the wedding but Tharn doesn't let him. Instead, he set him up to marry Khunlah, the daughter of Saeng Kham. Upon hearing this, Atcharee becomes heartbroken.
Eventually, Ben learns of Orawee's true colour and what she has done to Atcharee. He starts to feel sorry for her and later becomes her romantic interest.[1]
