Hidden Agenda (Thai: วาระซ่อนเร้น; Wara Son Ren) is a Thai television series directed by Tee Bundit Sintanaparadee. Its cast includes Joong Archen Aydin and Dunk Natachai Boonprasert. It aired from July 9, 2023 to September 24, 2023 every Sunday. This series is available in GMMTV.

Synopsis[]

For the first time, university student Zo resolves to pursue his long-time crush Nita. In order to woo her, he approaches Joke, Nita's ex, for dating advice. Joke agrees to help him in exchange for a place in the debate club. Or, at least, that's what he tells Zo. [1]

Cast[]

  • Dunk Natachai Boonprasert as Zo
    He is part of the debate club and has a long time crush with one of his classmates, Nita. However, everytime he is around her, he gets nervous. Now in their final year, he wants to ask her out. He also wants to win the debate competition. But his need to win is somewhat desperate as his mom is pressuring him to do well.
  • Joong Archen Aydin as Joke
    A musician that is known to have a foul mouth amongst Zo's friends. Despite that, Zo needs his help because he was Nita's boyfriend. He helps Zo, but may have something else in his mind.

  • Aou Thanaboon Kiatniran as Jeng
    An athlete who is also Jeng's cousin. He is gay and is afraid of people being homophobic around him. So, he keeps Pok, his boyfriend, a secret.
  • Boom Tharatorn Jantharaworakarn as Pok
    He is studying International Relations and is one of Zo's juniors in the debate club member. He is together with his boyfriend, Jeng, in secret. However, he gets frustrated with Jeng's actions and their secrecy.
  • Jamie Juthapich Indrajundra as Nita
    The queen of the facility in International Relations who is Zo's crush and Joke's "ex-boyfriend". She has a problem with a stalker and goes to Joke for help.
  • Pod Suphakorn Sriphothong as Wave
    Zo's senior and the president of the debate club. He does not like Joke because of his relationship with Trin.

  • Title Kirati Puangmalee as Puen (Ep. 7)
    He was once Zo's best friend. However, after Zo confessed that he liked him, their relationship went downhill.
  • Cong Duong as James | Poom (Ep. 6, 8)
    A stalker who is very fond of Nita. After getting caught by Joke the first time, he disappears for a bit before he starts messing with Zo.

Zo and Joke go to Chiang Khan for a break. When they arrived, they met Jeng and Pok-who later tagged along the trip with them. Along the way, Zo slowly opens up his feelings about Joke.

Zo is trying to avoid Joke to avoid talking about what happened in Chiang Khan. However, it doesn't last long as he has to interact with him in the debate club.

Zo is still figuring out his feelings. He confesses how he feels about Nita and decides to give Joke a chance.

Zo and Joke spends time with each other at the amusement park. As their relationship with each other becomes stronger, Zo meets his old friend.

Zo makes a new friend in class who is hiding his true identity. At the same time, Nita's stalker is back and is threatening Joke.
Episode 09 September 3, 2023
It is almost time for the break and Zo is getting ready to go home. He finds out about Joke's and Pat's secret and he gets upset.

Zo return home to rest. However, he feels pressure as him mom urges him to do well in the debate competition. Joke gets worried about Zo,

It's the final debate competition, and although they won as a team, Zo is still disappointed.

Joke wants to be with Zo, but Zo has been preoccupied taking care of his father in the hospital. Later, Zo has a heart-to-heart talk with his mother while Joke has one with his father.
