Personal Life[]
Jaja Dandao was born on December 12, 1996 in Bangkok. She is the daughter of Don Pruekpayoong (ดอน พฤกษ์พยุง), a Thai actor, and the granddaughter of Banjerdsri Yamapai (บรรเจิดศรี ยมาภัย), a famous senior actor. She is also the granddaughter of Monrudee Yamaphai (มนฤดี ยมาภัย), a famous former actress, and the granddaughter of Salaya Sukanivatt (ศัลยา สุขะนิวัตติ์), a famous television scriptwriter. She has one younger brother, JJ Dan Pruekpayoong.[1]
Jaja graduated from Mater Dei School, Bangkok and continued her studies in performing arts, majoring in acting and directing, Faculty of Fine Arts in Srinakharinwirot University.
Career[]
Jaja entered the industry by joining the TV drama series, Porn Prom Onlaweng, in 2003, where she played the role as a young actress. After that, she took a break from acting until 2019, she had the opportunity to return to acting again in the series Korn Aroon Ja Roong on Channel GMM 25, directed by Atsadawut Leungsunthon, a famous former actor. For this TV series, her aunt, Salaya Sukanivatt, wrote both the novel and the TV drama script. She played the role of Noo Lek and used the name Dandao Pruekpayoong in the performance[2].
In the same year, she acted in another drama, Gon Luang Tuang Nee Rak on Channel 3 HD, playing the role of Kamlai, the heroine's best friend. She also used the name Dandao Pruekpayoong in the performance. This drama also written by her aunt, Salaya Sukanivatt[3], before she disappearing from the screen for 4 years.
Then in 2023, she returned to play again in the historical period drama Love Destiny 2. From this drama, she became a favorite of the drama fans. This time, she used the name Dandao Yamapai as her stage name[4].
