Lee Je Hoon (Korean: 이제훈, Born July 4, 1984) is a South Korean actor who started his career in indie films. Since then, he has also appeared in many commercial films and television series. [1]

Lee was majoring in biotechnology at the Korea University, but he dropped out after realizing that he wanted to focus in acting instead. After that, he transferred to the School of Drama at Korea National University of Arts. [1]

Lee appeared in more than 18 student shorts and indie films, notably the queer coming-of-age romance Just Friends? [2]

2011: Awards[]

He won the best new actor award at the 48th Daejong Film Awards for the films "The Front Line" and "Bleak Night" and earned a nomination for Best Actor at the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards for "Time to Hunt." [1]

2021: Acting[]

He played the role of a taxi driver in the 2021 drama "Taxi Driver," which season finale scored the fourth-highest rating of all Friday-Saturday dramas in the history of SBS. [1]

Military service[]

Lee enlisted for his mandatory military service on October 25, 2012. He was discharged on July 24, 2014, after serving as a member of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency riot police. [1]

Philanthropy[]

On March 6, 2022, Lee donated 100 million won to the Hope Bridge Disaster Relief Association to help the victims of the massive wildfire that started in Uljin, Gyeongbuk and has spread to Samcheok, Gangwon. [3]
