Linlang is an upcoming 2024 Philippine mystery thriller drama television series broadcast by Kapamilya Channel. Directed by Jojo Saguin and Manny Emmanuel Palo, it stars, Paulo Avelino, Kim Chiu and JM de Guzman.

Synopsis[]

The series revolves around dirty lies, secrets, jealousy, and betrayal in relationships.

The trailer suggests that Juliana (Kim Chiu) who is married to Victor (Paulo Avelino), is having an affair with Alexander (JM de Guzman) and Jake Ejercito. Avelino, whose character is working overseas as a seafarer, is determined to find out why his wife is committing adultery.

The series premiered on the streaming service Amazon Prime Video on October 5, 2023, with the first two episodes available immediately and the rest debuting on a weekly basis consisting 14 episodes..[1]

Television broadcast[]

Linlang is set to have its television debut (subtitled as "The Teleserye Version") on January 22, 2024, on Kapamilya Channel's Primetime Bida lineup. It will also air on Kapamilya Online Live, A2ZTemplate:Efn, TV5's TodoMax PrimeTime Singko lineup, and worldwide via The Filipino Channel, which is the uncut version of the series. It will replace Senior High in its timeslot of 9:30 pm.[2][3]

Paulo Avelino, Kim Chiu, JM de Guzman and Maricel Soriano will lead the cast of the upcoming ABS-CBN series "Linlang."

This was announced on Friday in a video uploaded by show producer Dreamscape Entertainment.

The series will be directed by Jojo Saguin and Mannny Palo.

The star-studded cast is composed of veteran actors Jaime Fabregas and Raymond Bagatsing, young stars Vance Larena, Heaven Peralejo, Adrian Lindayag, and Race Matias, with “PBB Kumunity Season 10” big winner Anji Salvacion, and “Idol Philippines 2nd runner-up Kice.

Concept[]

It marks the much-awaited TV comeback of Maricel, who shared her excitement in doing a very complex character with a thrilling storyline. She said, “Excited din ako. Ang gagawin ko ‘yung isang way, hindi ‘yung the normal way.”

Paulo also teased more about his character, which will be his most controversial role yet. “Sa isang relasyon, ‘di kadalasan isang side lang lagi ‘yung nagkakamali,” he said.

Kim, on the other hand, said “we’re up for the challenge. Sobrang iba talaga, ibang-iba and it needs a lot of hard work.” Meanwhile, JM said he is excited to be part of the series, which is his first teleserye under Dreamscape.

Set to air in 2023, “Linlang” will be directed by Jojo Saguin and FM Reyes. Direk Jojo said this will be a one-of-a-kind series, “Heavily researched. First time sa lahat ng TV series sa buong Pilipinas.”
