Main article: The story is also inspired from 2022's The Broken Marriage Vow, distinguished from the story.
This family life behind the idyllic façade - twenty years of marriage to leave their quaint town in Batangas behind - will mark a year for Crisanna (Aya Fernandez) and Peter Guevarra (Rafael). Behind this seems to be a pot of secrets which starts to steadily brew, however. One of these is that Peter is now having an affair with Jennica. The other one is that the childhood friend of Crisanna named Rory returns after decades, professing love that complicates her already fragile emotional stage. With their five daughters navigating the side effects of their rather broken and strained relationship, the Guevarra family is pushed to extremes with betrayal, unspoken pasts, and new romantic involvement. Caught in the middle: business partner Kent and tested family loyalties. Can Crisanna and Peter decide their marriage's value-whether it's salvageable or if their love is simply lost forever?.
Among shifting loyalties, rising tension, and threats to mortality, each character faces the true reality of their desires as a backdrop for emotional journeys into betrayal, forgiveness, and the search for redemption.
