Sweet & Sour (Korean: 새콤달콤; RR: Saekom-Dalkom) is a 2021 South Korean romantic comedy film, based on the novel Initiation Love by Kurumi Inui. The film directed by Lee Gye-byeok, a story of a couple that drifts apart. It was released on Netflix on June 4, 2021.

Synopsis[]
Faced with real-world opportunities and challenges, a couple endures the highs and lows of trying to make a long-distance relationship survive. Jang Hyuk is a man who wants to have both work and love with his girlfriend, Da Eun, and Bo Young is a woman he meets in a new environment. It is a refreshing romantic comedy about the complicated relationships between three people who are experiencing different emotions.

On 9 September 2019, Chae Soo-bin and Jang Ki-yong were confirmed to play lead roles in the film. On October 8, 2019 Krystal Jung joined the cast as parallel lead in the film[1].
Filming[]
Principal photography began on October 8, 2019, and filming was wrapped up on December 23, 2019[2].
Release[]
The film was originally planned to be released theatrically in 2020 but got affected by COVID-19 pandemic spread. It was ultimately released on Netflix on June 4, 2021[3].Gallery[]
